Pregnancy, breast-feeding
editI didn't want to give the reference for a single "B" in {{Template:Drugbox}}, but here is something to be included in the article in the future:
- Potential Adverse Effects on Fetus
None known. - Potential Side Effects on Breast-fed Infant
Significant problems not documented, but may lead to sensitization, diarrhea, candidiasis, or skin rash in infant. Fetal serum levels 20%-50% of maternal. - FDA Category
B (B = Studies in laboratory animals have not demonstrated a fetal risk, but there are no controlled studies in pregnant women; nor animal studies have shown an adverse effect (other than a decrease in fertility), but controlled studies in pregnant women have not demonstrated a risk to the fetus in the first trimester and there is no evidence of a risk in later trimesters.)
All of the above from Table II [Stockton DL, Paller AS; J Am Acad Dermatol 23(1):87-103 (1990)] -- Alfie±Talk 21:29, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Year of discovery
editThis ref says 1948.[1]
We do not generally do our own research of primary sources to come to other conclusions. Oxford is a decent publisher.
