The man is more than his baseball career

edit

How about a little personal information besides his nephew? Like was he married, does he have kids. Off the playing field endeavors...I know he was involved in community activities during his stay in Atlanta. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.178.71.164 (talk) 20:07, 24 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Reaction of Phil and fans to Braves releasing him

edit

This might be a good thing to include, given how the article has concentrated on his long career and eventual return to Atlanta, and also how he was a great pitcher playing for such a crappy team and organization for sooooooooo long. Then the same crappy organization released him and he won 16 games for the Yanks not just the next season but the next two seasons! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.178.71.164 (talk) 20:10, 24 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

All Star Selection

edit

He was selected to the All Star Team four times with the Braves and once with the Yankees. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.237.34.211 (talk) 22:44, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
