Father's Prison Camp
editHis father won't have been held in an East German prison camp if he was a B-17 pilot (the implication is in WWII), as East Germany didn't exist until 1949, and didn't hold American POW's. He may have been held in a camp in the east of Germany during the war, though. This should be edited. 217.35.132.93 (talk) 11:22, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Alasdair
Pronunciation of Crowley
editThere are two possible pronunciations for the surname Crowley, /ˈkroʊli/ (with the vowel of 'goat') and /ˈkraʊli/ (with the vowel of 'mouth'). Among public figures, the former is used for Aleister, Bob, and Candy Crowley and the latter for Joseph, Monica, and Pat Crowley according to http://www.loc.gov/nls/other/sayhow/abcd.html. Does anyone know which is correct for Philip J. Crowley? --Iceager (talk) 06:29, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
