Plagiarism
editI noticed that much of the article was copied, without clear attribution (" ") from this obituary in The Independent, and therefore changed the article back to the honest (if far less interesting) state it had been in nine years ago. I then copied into it some unproblematic ingredients from the much later and longer version, and made some other, minor changes.
Other editors are welcome to improve the article so that it's as informative (and enjoyable) as it was an hour or so ago, as long as this doesn't involve plagiarism. -- Hoary (talk) 00:15, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
