Bias?

edit

This article reads like it was composed by his agent. It is nothing more than a series of accolades.Tony Reed (talk) 15:39, 16 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am not a registered user, but I saw the the height was incorrectly listed as 6'11, and attempted to correct it using info from NFL.com and ESPN.com, and tried to insert these references, but the page could not read something correctly. Sorry for the problem. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.237.10.64 (talk) 05:06, 4 January 2009 (UTC) Reply

Possible Green Bay bias in here as listing Aaron Rodgers having a higher passer rating than Steve Young. While he does, he doesn't have enough attempts to be listed as that in a career listing yet. Minimum is 1,500 and Rodgers has only around 1,110. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.94.71.168 (talk) 14:00, 30 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Another bias - it states that Rivers has the fewest ints in a season with 9. Steve Deberg of the Chiefs had the fewest with 4 in 1990. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.24.44.16 (talk) 21:36, 26 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Another bias? - The page claims that Rivers was responsible for "leading" the Chargers to the AFC title game. Rivers left the game with a knee injury. Billy Volek replaced Rivers at quarterback and led the game-winning drive. Volek scored the winning touchdown.[1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.84.118.112 (talk) 07:12, 14 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

A user went onto this page and edited the page to say that Rivers is on the Colts even though the signing is not official. Please fix it to say "free agent" in the current team row. Willmeyers24 (talk) 00:12, 19 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Not done for now: @Willmeyers24: There is a wider discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_National_Football_League#Pending trades and signings on how to handle these. You are invited to discuss there to form a broader consensus. Regards.—Bagumba (talk) 04:24, 19 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Philip Rivers was recently signed by the Indianapolis Colts to a 1 year deal worth 25 million dollars and I feel that would be an important thing to add to the article. The article from sports illustrated proves it. https://www.si.com/nfl/2020/03/17/philip-rivers-signs-colts-nfl-free-agency Aidan120205 (talk) 22:16, 20 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
