Rosters

edit

Hello, I do not understand why a Roster from a club was changed to include a "current club" column. Make no sense. Are we willing to include the previous roster of the Thai Denmark league or we are done with the new section called previos players and imports. --Osplace 14:14, 19 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

I'm guessing that the since the team is technically not a club but a league selection. So I beg to differ that the column is appropriate. These players have active contracts with their clubs and none of them are tied solely for the PSL All Stars.

In regards to the past roster. I think it should be retained but standardized to the agreed format. I don't see any purpose for the previous players and imports section since the team has so far played in two tournaments. It is redundant since these previous players (along with current players who have played in the Thai Denmark League) are already covered in the roster.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 14:25, 19 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

The previous squads section is indistinguishable. Since the players are listed to have played in "2016", there is no way to determine which tournament the players played in.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 14:29, 19 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
I see your point in both cases. About the extra column we can say that it is a unique case. About the previous squads, we can use in the heading Team roster - 2016 Women's Volleyball Thai-Denmark Super League, as a proposal for this unique club case. And the previous players and import should go away.--Osplace 14:46, 19 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
For the past rosters, I would like to suggest adopting the format used in United States men's national basketball team#Past rosters. --iamdumdum 9:19, 06 September 2017 (UTC)
I think its okay for simplicity, however as a selection team I believe its important to show which clubs the player are from at the time of the competition too.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 14:38, 6 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
