Request for new Wikipedia page: Philips subsidiary company - Woox Innovations

Hello! In 2013, Philips Lifestyle Entertainment business group was going to be sold to a Japanese firm Funai. Unfortunately the deal fell apart but the business group anyway became a stand-alone subsidiary company within Philips, under a new name: WOOX Innovations.

I actually work in WOOX Innovations and want to create a Wikipedia page for our company. However to avoid biased content, and the fact that this is my first time using Wikipedia - I thought it'd be better if i ask the help of the experts :). I will gladly supply any information needed to make the page as informative as it can be, but I definitely need guidance / help on actually creating the new page. Thank you everybody. I'm sure that others can respond better than I can, but be careful in making sure that your company meets Wikipedia's notability guideline (which can be read about in greater detail here: WP:ORG). The company needs to have decent coverage by reliable third-party sources and usually demonstrable effects on aspects like culture, society, entertainment, athletics, economies, or others.--ɱ (talk) 03:42, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

Hello, thank you for the reply. I've found these news links online, most of them about the failed business deal as well as the creation of new company. Are these enough to be considered decent coverage? How should I proceed with this, I assume it won't be preferable by the guideline if me (being an employee) actually starts the page myself - is that true?

Azulkarnain, most of these articles document the October 25th announcement, and while a company isn't notable solely on the conditions of its creation, you may be able to find information warranting an article. If not, perhaps consider adding a section to the Philips article, either as a subsection of the History section or as its own section, to document this new subsidiary. If you wanted to create a new article, the best way to proceed would be to create a draft on your userspace (on a sandbox page), and then ask a non-affiliated editor to publish your draft, when complete.
