editCould someone please tell me which way the arrow is pointing is supposed to be output and which way is input? Davhorn 16:51, 2 February 2007 (UTC) The arrows are pointing the 'wrong' way. Usually arrows pointing right are input and left are output, but here it's backwards. Lord Nightmare (talk) 00:31, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Similarity to other chips
editThe internal structure of the saa1099 is that of two Texas Instruments SN76489As with the channels selectably set to left or right in an output matrix, and an extra master volume control for left and right. There are EIGHT channels total, six squarewave and two noise/periodic wave channels. Lord Nightmare (talk) 00:31, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
