sydney59 (talk·contribs) This user has declared a connection. ((Optional) I was, up until early this year employed as the co-ordinator of Philosothons in Australasia for the previous 2 1/2 years. I am also an advisor for the UK Philosothon Project run through Oxford University. Currently, I receive no financial benefit from Philosothon related projects. Nevertheless, I have written factual information here about the event which has been held annually for nearly 10 years throughout Australia and New Zealand. Furthermore, there is a great deal of information about Philosothons in the public domain that has not been authored by me. I welcome others contributing to this page)

I removed this tag due to the following "If the maintenance template is of a type that requires support but is not fully supported. For example: Neutrality-related templates such as
(associated with the neutral point of view policy) strongly recommend that the tagging editor initiate a discussion (generally on the article's talk page) to support the placement of the tag. If the tagging editor failed to do so, or the discussion is dormant, and there is no other support for the template, it can be removed."
The person with the clear conflict of interest removed the conflict of interest tag. Do you not see the problem there? The person who is trying to promote Philosothon removes the neutrality tag. Do you not see the problem there? "strongly recommend that the tagging editor initiate a discussion (generally on the article's talk page) to support the placement of the tag". generally on the article's talk page but can be elsewhere, such as the Conflict of interest Noticeboard as seen above. duffbeerforme (talk) 10:59, 12 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
