Some evidence: "... DAT (desaminotyrosine) generation occurs during flavonoid metabolism, and specific microbiota species metabolize flavonoids. A limited screen of the human fecal microbiota for flavonoid metabolism to DAT identified Clostridium orbiscindens. ...
