Serious issues
editIt appears that this concept is presented as fact without evidence of scientific consensus. I'm still reading around, but it would appear this concept overall is closer to WP:FRINGE than not, despite very interesting and convincing experiments performed without mention of "Measuring effects of music, noise, and healing energy using a seed germination bioassay" (from one of the references in Plant acoustics: in the search of a sound mechanism for sound signaling in plants). It appears to me that the article was written entirely by an uncritical proponent of phonotropism.
The entire Experiments section seems out of line with WP:NOTE. The rest of the article needs serious editing. I don't believe this is a candidate for deletion: There's enough media coverage for a small article at least.
My proposed changes:
- delete experiments section
- discuss media coverage
- find and discuss critics(ism)
