2007-01-08 edit note
editRegarding my edit of 8 January 2007: Removing advertising (see original text by the "user" Allencheung (see contibs). - Libertas 11:06, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
Plagarism?
editBest seen at http://www.google.com/search?q=phpmyadmin
It's basically word for word. If Wikipedia took it from the Sourceforge entry, that allowed? If it is allowed, then sorry for posting. Rktur 03:26, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Sources
editPlenty of hits at Google News:[1] Fences&Windows 00:32, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
Too bad! There are no reliable sources... The german Wikipedia has no problem with this curious terms and conditions for the reliable sources. That seems funny to me! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.5.81.185 (talk) 09:58, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
As one of the current authors is maintaining the text (...and added documentation re. his book about PMA), it can hardly get any more accurate. If that's not enough, I guess nothing is... :) --AlleyKat (talk) 19:39, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
- Who is that? Adding one's own book is a conflict of interest and should be avoided. --Simple Bob a.k.a. The Spaminator (Talk) 21:44, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
Competition
editNot quite sure it makes sense to have a paragraph for competing software on a page about PhpMyAdmin. Would you want a list 'similar politicians' on a page about Bill Clinton, Angela Merkel or Tony Blair? And a list of similar actors on the pages about George Clooney, Judy Dench or Meryl Streep?
