editWhile the format Ph-Ph with a dash is most likely to indicate bisphenol as it resembles an abbreviated structural diagram, I feel that it's more consistent to treat the link like Phph and disambiguate it to be certain. This is especially the case because mobile searches aren't case sensitive (aa far as I know) so ph-ph, which doesn't resemble the structure, might accidentally be included.
I don't think this should be a big problem: compared to say Acac, which redirects to acetylacetone, Ph-Ph instead of bisphenol isn't as much of a time savings, as bisphenol is shorter and to write to begin with.
I don't work on this compound however, so someone more familiar may prefer to revert to the existing set-up. This just serves to document my rationale for the current change if required later. Techhead7890 (talk) 11:34, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
