As the article writer, I would like to know what I have done or not done to receive a notice of submission for deletion so I can correct it. I understand initially the content did not have verifiable citations or notability. I have added more content with journal citations. The article is for a man who was internationally notable in his field. He has since passed. I just want to do him justice by meeting the wikipedia requirements and have his article remain.
