editThe way the article is written when talking about Tait's decision is a bit ambiguous. It could be taken to mean that Tait was selfish and didn't want to give Tashi "all the glory" when that wasn't really why. In the documentary he says that he's doing it as an achievement and that the achievement would really be all Tashi and he doesn't want to take that away from him. Because in the record books it would go down as Tait seeing as he was the western white man that paid for it when the real accomplishment was that of Tashi who wouldn't have been seen as the first person to do it.
