The colonels → Piłsudski's colonels — "The colonels" is rather generic, especially with the Greek regime also called that. Colonels' regime is a dismabiguation page, so "The colonels" should also be a disambiguation page. "Piłsudski's colonels" is a much less ambiguous name. 65.94.77.11 (talk) 10:07, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

- Support. The term "The Colonels" is sourced to Lerski's Historical dictionary of Poland, but can't find any examples of Lerski using it. Instead, he uses the phrases "Colonels' Group" or "Colonels' regime". The Time magazine article referenced says, "Pilsudski Colonels." The phrase "The colonels" is used, not as a formal name or on first reference, but only on subsequent reference and in the pedestrian sense of, "that group of colonels we told you about earlier". - Support. As the nom says, the proposed title would add much more clarity. Jenks24 (talk) 22:11, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
- Support. I wish I'd proposed this myself. Richard M. Watt writes in Bitter Glory: Poland and Its Fate, 1918 to 1939 (1979, p. 269): "Piłsudski was assisted by a large number of relatively youthful aides, all of whom had served him more or less continually for many years and had originally been members of the Riflemen's Association, the Polish Legion, the P.O.W. or, quite frequently, all three. These men were now officers in the Army or were reserve officers who... served as the Marshal's eyes and ears in various civilian ministries. Most of those who were active officers were colonels or lieutenant colonels." In Polish sources, "the colonels" or "the colonels' government" (after Piłsudski's death in 1935) were and are unequivocal expressions; in a broader global context, they are not — hence the qualifier "Piłsudski's" is needed. - Weak support. A clarification seems helpful here. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 16:03, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
- Support. Reasonable suggestion. Volunteer Marek 20:51, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

- Comment redirects will probably be needed at Piłsudski's Colonels, Pilsudski's colonels, Pilsudski's Colonels. 65.94.77.11 (talk) 04:48, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
