Wire wheels: Wire wheels#On motorcycles says only main article: Motorcycle construction#Wheels, but that is not a main article, it is a subsection. Bicycle wheel is a better article, but none of these 3 actually explains how spokes support the wheel pre-stressed w/compression.

While the IPA [ˈpjaddʒo ˈaːpe] is correct, the "pronunciation respelling" AH-pay is not; it would be correct if the prounciation were ['aːpeɪ]. Now, the WP:Pronunciation respelling key page doesn't have the exact equivalent for the IPA symbol /e/, but the closest thing would be AH-pe (similar to the English IPA [aːpɛ], and sounding also like "ah-peh"). --Arny (talk) 13:57, 22 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

It's probably accidental, but the last line of the introduction - "it's in continuous production since its 1948 introduction / and offered in numerous body configurations / serving a range of utilitarian functions" - would work as a song lyric. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 12:31, 9 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
