Where to buy?
editwhere could one buy a piccolo Oboe? --—Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.66.154.189 (talk • contribs)
- The article lists the manufacturers who make them. One probably has to contact those manufacturers directly (their websites are all linked from the Oboe page). Also, an oboe/woodwind sales company could probably special order one. It's a real specialty item so most wind instrument stores probably won't have one on hand. Loree does not like for you to contact them directly anymore form the US. I ordered several instruments form them prior to 2008 including a violetwood bass oboe but when I tried to order a picciolo oboe recently they asked that i go through one of their US reps. When I asked for a price quote on a picciolo oboe in violetwood for Loree they responded that they did not make it in violetwood and required paymwent in full for a grenidillia model. I already had a musette form Patricola and very much like it so I ordered a rosewood Patricola musette. John Chance —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.17.87.9 (talk) 20:26, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- So you have two piccolo oboes now? Both in E-flat? Badagnani (talk) 20:38, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Yes, one grenidillia and the other one rosewood. Both form Patricola.
