editThe information on the discovery of the peak is clearly wrong. The peak was first viewed and name from Maguirre's 1950's expedition altough they did not reach or climb it. The peak (actually both twin summits, 31 de Marco and Neblina) were named Pico Phelps. Maguirre used the name Cerro Neblina to describe to whole massif due to consistant cloud cover over the mountain. The twin submmits were renamed during the Brasilian expedition to Pico 31 de Marco and Pico da Neblina. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dycotiles (talk • contribs) 15:16, 6 March 2012 (UTC)
