Fair use rationale for Image:Tayloralbum.jpg
editImage:Tayloralbum.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

- As of 8 July 2010, Tayloralbum.jpg was replaced by Taylor_swift_picture_to_burn.jpg, which has a fair use rationale for this article. Sehome Bay (Leave a message) 19:12, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
BLP violation
editThis article is covered by the Biographies of living persons policy. That policy protects the privacy of living people. It establishes a presumption of privacy for people who are (1) NOT famous or notable on their own and/or (2) only mentioned because of a relationship (friend, family, coworker, neighbor, etc.) with a famous person. Their names should generally be omitted. Sehome Bay (Leave a message) 19:12, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
B-side in infobox
editIn the infobox the "B-side" is listed as "Ten Years Pass" by Sunny Sweeney. This actually refers to the jukebox 7" vinyl (Big Machine Records V-1008), and not to any retail version of the single. I don't think it's right to list it, what do you think? TomEG (talk) 20:30, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Picture to Burn
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Picture to Burn's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 03:21, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Ogg sample
editAn ogg sample is needed for the composition section. That, along with a few other things, need to get fixed up for GA. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 04:35, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

My first impression of this article is that it is of good size, and of reasonable quality.
- It is reasonably well written.
- a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
- The lede is excellent. I think country music should be changed to country in the 'Composition' section. I really don't understand the sentence 'Swift's boasts with big vocals that span two octaves, from G3 to C5'.
- a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
- It is factually accurate and verifiable.

Alternate and controversy
editThere really should be some mention of the controversy of the "ill tell them your gay" line and why it was edited out for on air play, yet retained for the cd release. In light of her participation in the NoH8 campaign against anti-gay bullying, it was viewed as evidence that she was disingenuous and hypocritical. I have as of yet been unable to find a response from Swift about this but a quick search turns up significant amount of angst and hostility over this line. Papabear 05:45, 6 August 2013 (UTC)
