"The"?
editMost sources refer consistently to the building as "the Piece Hall", not using "The" except at start of a sentence. So the correct Wikipedia article title is Piece Hall, but the word "the" should be used in the text. A recent series of edits removed "the" throughout, referring to the building simply as "Piece Hall".
- BBC confirms "the" or "The" but only used at sentence starts
- BBC "the Piece Hall"
- BBC "the Piece Hall"
- Calderdale council "the Piece Hall"
- NHLE listing "the Piece Hall"
- Yorkshire Post inconsistent, uses both "Piece Hall" and "the Piece Hall"
- "The Piece Hall" website consistently uses "The Piece Hall"
I have replaced "the" where it was recently removed. Please do not remove it again without discussion and consensus here. PamD 07:39, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
