Different Pieter van der Borchts conflated?

I don't know anything much about this subject, but I'm a bit worried in case different people of the same name are getting conflated on this page at the moment. The birth/death dates given (1608 & 1631) are confused: they are taken from the working dates given for Pieter van der Borchts (III) in the RKD. An earlier Pieter van der Borchts was the painter and book illustrator who lived from 1545 to 1608 (see e.g. worldcat identities ) and is better known than the one here. Thanks for the note - the RKD lists Pieter van der Borcht (I) (1535-1608). That's probably a relation as it says born in Mechelen or Brussels. So two people, but this one is the one listed in the BPN that is sourced from Weyerman and De Bie. If you have other Wikipedia entries or any pics for the earlier one, you can just create a new Pieter van der Borcht the Elder or whatever and copy this stub. Jane (talk) 15:01, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
