Citation needed?
editA section of the article reads like a scholarly treatise (phrases like "unlike many prior depictions which appear to be iconic agglomerations" and "seeded the Italian pictorial revolution that extracted figures from the gilded ether of Byzantine iconography into pictorial worlds"). I added a citation to a webpage that has something very similar but after some consideration it seems pretty clear that that site probably took the words from wikipedia rather than the other way around. I found one book on googlebooks but that is a student handout of sorts that also seems to have gotten its info from wikipedia. Any suggestions on how to improve this article by finding a source for this section? TimeForLunch (talk) 13:29, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
