Updates?
editThe first streetcar was expected to begin service in 2011.
Presumably it hasn't done so. Is there any more recent information about the project? If so, it needs to be included in the article. If not, then some comment, such as "but did not do so" should be included. 108.246.205.134 (talk) 15:57, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
Fork off an article on the now cancelled streetcar?
editA contributor is complaining about an article on a Virginia politician who was a strong opponent of the Columbia Pike streetcar, saying we should not have a standalone article on her, when we don't have a standalone article on the streetcar.
Even though the streetcar was cancelled I think there is certainly enough coverage of it to merit a stand-alone article. I am not suggesting forking the article just to expose the logical fallacies of this other contributor. I genuinely think the topic merits coverage. Even though it has been cancelled, it is still generating news hits, in articles that discuss how to figure out how to replace it.
