Music Compilation missing

edit

Why don't you have this compilation listed? Leitmotiv (talk) 08:12, 30 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Six years late, but the "Pilot" on that album is a different band (but with the same name). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bflaminio (talkcontribs) 04:46, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Discography information

edit

It would be nice if the people that made this page for Pilot could have put in a little more information into their discography. I really like the music of this band, and would like to know what other songs they have had on their albums, I know this wasn't that famous of a band since I have searched for them and not very much information has come up, love the music I've heard though. If you could please put more information into their discography, thanks.

Fair use rationale for Image:Pilot band.jpg

edit

Image:Pilot band.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

US

edit

I think in the U.S., they're basically considered "one-hit wonders"... AnonMoos (talk) 19:00, 22 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Whilst in the UK, they are more like two-hit wonders. -- Beardo (talk) 21:11, 1 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Associated acts - Bay City Rollers

edit

I removed the Bay City Rollers saying "the connection is pretty weak". Someone reverted writing "There actually is no band more closely associated with them then BCR: Both boy bands with similar musical styles, both from the the same city in Scotland, both active during the exact same years, & some members were in both bands".

Since Template:Infobox_musical_artist#associated_acts specifically says not to include "Groups that are merely similar" that removes most of the justifications. So we are left with two "substitute members" who played with Bay City Rollers before they became famous and did not record anything. Is that sufficient to make them associated ? -- Beardo (talk) 19:09, 5 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Check out the BCR article: Pilot is on there twice, including even their navbox. And BCR is included in Pilot's navbox, all placed there by other editors. The guys in these bands all went to school together, and knew each other. You're overthinking this; let it go. - JGabbard (talk) 23:00, 5 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Two’s A Crowd

Was the original recording ever released? Not in the US. Anywhere? Nicmart (talk) 15:49, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
