The link to "Kassler" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kasseler) redirects to an article about the (painter) 'Johann Heinrich Tischbein' (called "the Kass*e*ler) although a proper article about "Kassler" (the meat) exists. Huh? I want to emphasize that Grünkohl does not taste like old paint. :-) 80.171.57.93 (talk) 05:58, 15 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorted. I have corrected the link and also created a disambiguation page for Kasseler since it has several meanings. --Bermicourt (talk) 11:12, 15 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Name origin

edit

"Another explanation for the origin of the name is that this fatty sausage drips (German:pinkelt) with fat for a long time during smoking."

This sounds like "pinkeln" means "dripping" in german. I'm not sure how that word was used in the distant past, but I'm german and in the 26 years of my life here, I've only heard it as a childish term for urinating. In fact most children are amused if they hear the name the first time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.142.113.247 (talk) 13:44, 4 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
