Weight Watchers quote
editSurely, I'm not the only person who doesn't see it as a "marketing quote," as alleged? It's in the source regardless, I won't add it back without some extra input, but still. --badlydrawnjeff talk 02:54, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
- Here's the original source for the quote[1] - the source is not even weightwatchers directly, its random people on their website forums who were asked for a article list of 16 diet food they "can't live without". It may not be a "marketing quote" in the sense of direct advertising copy for Pirate's Booty but its a certainly a promotional-style phrasing in support of a commercial enterprise i.e. WeightWatchers. - How does it support Weight Watchers in this case? --badlydrawnjeff talk 13:26, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
References
editAs of the time of this comment, every sentence (with the exception of the governor claim, which I see nothing to indicate they're the same person yet) is sourced. Before adding fact tags, please take a look at the references at the end of paragraphs - they source everything that comes before it. --badlydrawnjeff talk 13:34, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
- I doubt they're the same person, and have removed the "fact" from the Main Page. -- tariqabjotu 15:09, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. --badlydrawnjeff talk 15:32, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Piratesbooty.JPG
editImage:Piratesbooty.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
