What?
editThis article uses lots of long, vague, and arty words, which I am sure mean something to the author. But I've read it all, I know what the words mean, and I still don't know what "planephones" are, what they do, or what they are for. The pictures, at least, tell me what they look like. Notability
editIt doesn't appear to me that Planephones are notable. See Wikipedia:Notability for a guideline. The horrific CPU-sucking Agorà Magazine link shows the art installation but it is unclear whether the piece is from a neutral observer or from the artist. The cematitalia.it/sonora/leiniziative/zagabria07.htm URL shows both the Planephones and the Holophones, one right above the other, making me think it was a paid advertisement or promotional piece, rather than a single article from an art critic describing the art. There is no author listed, reinforcing the idea that this is promotional text formed by the artist. This article must have better sources to show its notability. - This link proves that Lorenzo Seno of the Dipartimento di Nuove Tecnologie e linguaggi musicali, Conservatorio de L’Aquila (IT) - Centro Ricerche Musicali, Roma, gave a talk about Planephones in front of the Audio Engineering Society in Italy. Seno is part of the Planephones development group CRM, so Seno is not a secondary source. This primary source URL can be used to verify basic facts, but does not add to notability.

- I can't figure this link out. Is it promotional text about an exhibition or is a critical review by Michele Imperio and Fabio Pagani? If this is the Imperio who is the documentary film director, and he is giving his opinion, then the link establishes a secondary source. I can't tell, as my Italian language skill level is very low.

- This a blog entry by Giulio Marzaioli. If Giulio Marzaioli were a notable reporter or notable critic, this would be a good secondary source. In searching for him on the web, I see only his blogging.

The sheer volume of URLs is no replacement for quality. What is needed are two critical reviews of the art. Binksternet (talk) 19:29, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
