Performance with The Band

edit

Among other problems, the previous entry incorrectly reported that Dylan had not performed publicly with the Band since 1966, even though he played at at least 5 shows with them-- and three of those appearances have been commercially released in some form. Vocal credits

edit

I hear backing vocals on 'Going Going Gone' and 'Never Say Goodbye'. However, it sort of sounds like this is Dylan overdubbed. Can anyone find a source that Danko and Helm really did sing on the album?

Bob Dylan: The Recording Sessions, 1960-1994 by Heylin (pp. 95-99) clears this up: they are all overdubs.
