editHow does a death fall off a balcony? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.140.246.88 (talk) 12:23, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- One dies by falling off a balcony, probably from doing a plank on the ledge. Regardless of the grammar, it's related to the fad and not the exercise specifically, so it doesn't belong in this article. —C.Fred (talk) 13:48, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
World record cite
editWhile the cite on the record attempt appears to be valid, the Guinness Site seems to be at odds with it. (I just happened to see the record on the Guinness site, and came to Wikipedia looking for more info.) I am unsure of the best way to proceed. --Ratmangxa (talk) 07:11, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
- this looks like it's been fixed -- the current cite in the article leads to the current Guinness page. -- phoebe / (talk to me) 18:00, 28 February 2013 (UTC)
- And as of 2015 Guinness is again behind. Please note that Diageo does not own exclusive rights to determine what constitutes a "world record", but only to the term "Guinness world record". ;-) --BjKa (talk) 09:19, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
no picture of regular plank position?
editWe have the pictures for everything except the regular "push-up" position. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.67.229.166 (talk) 04:31, 2 August 2013 (UTC)

No reliable independent sources
editThis article contains no reliable independent sources. All the sources given have a financial interest in selling fitness programmes. Where is the independent research on the efficacy of planking? Where are the warnings about what you can do to yourself if you overdo it? 62.235.147.189 (talk) 20:47, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
German
