Notability
editThis train station doesn't seem notable, there is no assertion of notability made in this article. Can anyone give me a reason not to AfD this? IvoShandor 12:07, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- I have found out its notability, I thought it might be the case but it took me a minute to confirm. IvoShandor 11:17, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
One of the Smallest
editQuoting the article:
"It is one of the smallest such stops in the United States."
Not quite clear what this means.
- one of the smallest communities served?
- physically small station building?
- brief stops?

Proposed move
editI propose to move this article to the new name "Plano station (Illinois)". The reason is that there are three stations with Wikipedia articles on the DART light rail line in Plano, Texas, and the interurban line that preceded it. Those have much more frequent service than the Amtrak station in Plano, Illinois. Given that there are three stations, it would be too clunky to have a "see also" at the top of this.
For that reason, I will make a new disambiguation page with links to the three Plano stations in Texas and the one in Illinois. Narayansg (talk) 15:07, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
