Clean up this page?
editI believe this page is in need of a cleanup. There is too much information about the applications of solar cells in general and some repetitiveness. SalmonRushdie (talk) 17:59, 6 December 2014 (UTC)

re-arrange request
editThis is primarily a technical topic -- I think it would be better to put the history of the people involved at the end - rather than in the beginning. In addition, this article is currently a hodge podge of a mess. Before I start major editing - I guess I am looking for some kind of permission as I am not sure how things work here. -- Pliny555 (talk) 02:52, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
Suggested title change to "Plasmonic-enhanced Solar Cell"
editI would like to suggested, for the purpose of clarity, that the title of the article be changed to "Plasmonic Enhanced Solar Cell" or "Plasmonic-enhanced Solar Cell". The article discusses traditional solar cells (p-n junction, direct and indirect band gap) with plasmonic enhancement via metallic nano-particle surface deposition. The first footnote is "Plasmonic enhancement of amorphous silicon solar photovoltaic cells with hexagonal silver arrays made with nanosphere lithography" (Zhang et al, 2016) [1]. Another similar publication describes the approach as Plasmonic-enhancement "Plasmonic-enhanced Si Schottky barrier solar cells" (Tong et al, 2014 [2].
