editThese pallets lack the underplanks of the wood variants. If a forklift fork is not completely under the pallet or if the cargo has a center of gravity closer to the edge of the pallet, it'll flip over.
- That is simply not true. First of all, it is not standard practice to load a pallet on its edge or partially lift a pallet. Secondly, many plastic pallets have a bottom runner similar to wood pallets. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.73.125.129 (talk) 21:21, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- It is if the one picking up the cargo brings a minivan. That hatchback door projects out, so the forklift mast can damage it. Why don't these people rent a pickup or a full-size double-door van?! Jigen III (talk) 05:14, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Nestable
editWhat I'd like to know is does the term "Nestable" mean the same thing with items like this:

This article needs some unbiased love
editPlease
- Refrain from adding links to manufacturers
- Refrain from advertising random features above others (the History section seems full of POV)
- Find reliable sources for the unbiased information you and your fellow editors add

suggested deletion
editAn editor has suggested that this article be deleted. Please do not. This article covers an important subject but it is in the early phases of writing. There is certainly room for improvements and expansion; improvements will not be made if someone decides to delete it. Rlsheehan (talk) 12:31, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
- As reviewing administrator, I declined to delete it. The sections on Types of Pallets, and the History, which presently form the bulk of the article, appear to be mergable. DGG ( talk ) 14:33, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
