saving plastic in the uk or abroad, so far every plastic bank i have seen involves putting plastic bottles into a heavy metal skip. this obviously uses a lot of diesel to transport backwards and forwards and is mainly transporting air. it would be far more environment friendly and cheaper to put all plastic through a wood chipper and then into the skip thus filling the lightweight skip and making transpotation more econical and environment friendly.

Any Plastics even mixed can be shredded and loosely moulded by heat, into various shapes such as bricks, providing not only waterproofing but insulation, such shapes could be used to form bricks which could be used in the construction of common walls for houses, warehouses etc.. they would be durable cheap and easy to use.RALGriffiths (talk) 08:48, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
