Ads for Plate readers in last section?
editDoes the paragraph citing Wyatt Technology, Malvern Technology and Harbinger Biotechnology cross the line of WP:PROMOTION? Warmmilkandtea (talk) 15:13, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
New sections and plate readers types
editI created a new section for instruments and assays and consequently created a parent section for Methods. I rearranged the first paragraph with the available information (nothing new added) but now I have some doubts. What I understand is that all methods may have stand-alone dedicated plate readers but the following ones (absorbance, fluorescence intensity, luminescence, time-resolved fluorescence, and fluorescence polarization) may be available together in a multi-mode reader. Therefore, only light scattered was excluded from this list so my question is if it requires a stand-alone instrument or if there are multi-mode readers that can read them all. I would like to clarify this in the text, thanks in advance. Conjugado (talk) 11:43, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
