the Thomas Fallon wiki lists the original name of the plaza as City Park Plaza, not sure which is correct, i'll look it up eventually if noone knows. Justinhoude 06:49, Apr 29, 2005 (UTC)
- As the park was established in 1797, when no one in California spoke English, I doubt if the original name was City Park Plaza. However, as the statue of Fallon was ordered by his great great (well, some number of greats) grandson, mayor Tom McEnery, who left office in 1991, and the Plaza wasn't named after Chavez until 1993, it is possible that the name at the time it was ordered was City Park Plaza.
