Examples of Pneumatic Weapons

edit

Lewis and Clark used predominantly Pneumatic weapons on their titular expedition. The weapons were of Belgian make, and operated at ~1500psi. Today Pneumatic dart guns are used around the world in dealing with wildlife. Pneumatics were used during the cold war as a propellent and/or cooler mechanism for cryogenic guns and bullets.

Any other ideas? CaptainSquirvy (talk) 17:28, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

A more detailed coverage of the topic would be desirable, and for some reason there is also a page called "pneumatic cannon" which doesn't even link to here. The two ought to be merged and expanded, and the list and links to examples ought to be expanded, as there are numerous types of pneumatic weapons. Basically, "pneumatic cannon" and "air gun" ought to be covered in equal detail on this page, and I don't think a separate page for "pneumatic cannon" is necessary. A redirect would work fine. As it is, the this article seems far too immature; it barely touches the surface, and only touches on a few specific areas of the idea in any kind of detail..45Colt 23:59, 8 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
