Who founded Point Univ?

edit

The history section of this page doesn't match up with Thomas Olin Hathcock or George W. BonDurant. This page says Hathcock founded the university but the Hathcock and Bondurant pages say Bondurant did. Does someone know whats correct? EastandWestACC (talk) 22:38, 13 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Athletics Section Edits

edit

Point University has made some announcements regarding additional sporting programs. In addition, we have proposed some wording and language edits that clean up the text but do not change any facts outside of the announcement of swim teams. I help Point University as a client and would love to help make the following text their description of Athletics:

-

Point University athletic teams are known as the Skyhawks. The university is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), as well as the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division I. All of its sports compete in the [Athletic Conference] (AAC), except for football, which is a member of The Sun Conference (TSC). Men's sports include baseball, basketball, cross country/distance running, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer and tennis. Women's sports include basketball, cheerleading, cross country/distance running, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. Point announced in the fall of 2014 plans to establish men’s and women’s swimming team for the 2015-2016 sports year.

The Skyhawks, previously known as the Atlanta Christian College Chargers, have won a number of regional and National Championships. Most recently baseball won the 2010 NCCAA Division II National Championship.
