Nowa Karczma

There are several places named Nowa Karczma, but the relevant one has no article. It's shown on maps of the Vistula Spit, and is apparently within Krynica Morska municipality (Nowy Dwór Gdański County, Pomeranian Voivodeship). Likewise Piaski (disambiguation): the one we want is in Krynica Morska, and lacks its own article. I see that the Polish article pl:Nowa Karczma (Krynica Morska) begins "Nowa Karczma (pot. t. Piaski)" — does pot.t. mean 'also known as'? —Tamfang (talk) 02:31, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

Interesting topic

This is an interesting topic. While the border now is mostly non-existent, it has much historical significance for the European history. I suggest it is expanded based on Polish wikipedia article and DYKed. EU standards

More crossings are being built, as the EU standards require Poland to operate at least seven for that border.

This arouses my curiosity. Is the rule that no point of a land border should be more than 20 km from a crossing, or what? —Tamfang (talk) 00:20, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

No map of the current border

I read that Poland has a border with Russia and came here looking for a map of what the current border looks like. But there's no current map. Seems like a pretty major omission in this article. -- intgr [talk] 20:02, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
