Note that the sole reason this article was "unreferenced" is because it was created at a time when Wikipedia's referencing requirements weren't the same as they are now; at one time, believe it or not, it was considered unnecessary to provide inline citations and the only requirement that applied at the time was that you could list your references if someone challenged you on the content. That's changed, as it rightly should have; but getting the backlog of unreferenced articles up to current standards does take time. A reference has now been added which attests to the fact that the band is notable enough to not be speediable; they meet WP:NMUSIC criteria by virtue of having released material on a major label, as well as split releases with another notable artist, Hayden — it would be flatly ludicrous and unencyclopedic of us to decide that the split single itself is notable enough to have an article because of Hayden's participation, yet the band who split it with him is somehow insufficiently notable and the single's article thus can't tell us anything about them — and both releases charted on the campus radio charts. Further references can easily be added when I have more time to locate my old back issues of Chart. Bearcat (talk) 19:33, 17 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
I've never heard of this band, but I doubt it meets the criteria for speedy deletion. If someone thinks this doesn't conform to policy, then send it to AfD, not here. A Google Search leads to blogs, et al. A sign that it was once popular. I didn't search for sources, I searched for credibility, and I think its credible, and I contest this speedy deletion.--Michaelzeng7 (talk - contribs) 23:25, 17 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
