Important notice
editThe government section of the "Outline of Bahrain" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches. When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information. Please check that this country's outline is not in error. If you have any questions or comments, please contact The Transhumanist . Thank you.
introduction of racial segregation and lingerie mannequins
edit"Councillors of Islamic parties
repeatedly complained that their policies on such issues as the introduction of racial segregation and lingerie mannequins are being frustrated by lack of cooperation from central government."
I removed part of this because it sounds like the Councillors were in favor of introducing racial segregation and introducing lingerie manniquins. I think the former is at least plausible, but the latter is highly unlikely. In any event, both links are to pages that no longer contain the original articles, so now I'm about to go looking for proper sources to try to get to the bottom of this.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 14:52, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
- As an update, I was mostly unsuccessful at finding useful sources for those claims, although I found enough to suspect that they are true. Would appreciate help in documenting this.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 12:17, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
Outdated
editWow. Such an important article and it is really outdated. Al Wefaq had 17 seats in 2006, then they had 18 in 2010. Now they have nothing after they resigned and boycotted the by-elections. I'll work on this soon. One of the most important reliable sources is the BICI report. Mohamed CJ (talk) 20:06, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
