Why does this page have to be deleted if there are many other pages like Politics of California? Why is this any different? If there is something wrong with it, then fix it, but don't delete it. If it doesn't have enough info, then add info. Libertyville | Talk 15:45, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

OK, I have decided to withdraw the PROD as this article is been actively improved and there does appear to be demand for one. However, this article still needs a lot of work to follow WP:V and WP:N, and this article could still be taken to WP:AFD in the future. Camaron1 | Chris 16:08, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

This is about tag cleanup. As all of the tags are more than a year old, there is no current discussion relating to them, and there is a great deal of editing done since the tags were placed, they will be removed. This is not a judgement of content. If there is cause to re-tag, then that of course may be done, with the necessary posting of a discussion as to why, and what improvements could be made. This is only an effort to clean out old tags, and permit them to be updated with current issues if warranted. Also IMO this article may have no reason to exist, but POV isn't one of them.Jjdon (talk) 19:13, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

That won't happen, people think all of Illinois IS Chicago. Face it, Illinois really is Chicago, Chicago, and more Chicago. Minnesota

So, Illinois, New York and California are the only states that are blue despite the fact that Minnesota hasn't been red since 1972, 50+ years? Yeah, that makes sense, Minnesota has been blue for over 50 years, yet it's not a guaranteed Democrat voting state.
