There's something wrong here
edit"His widow Betty died in 2003, aged 77." Okay, then, simple math says she was born in 1926, right? He was born in 1911, so he's 15 years older than her. Well, that's odd but not completely unheard of.
Elsewhere in the article, it says, "Prior to moving to the University of Minnesota, Kusch married his girlfriend, Edith Starr Roberts and had three daughters with her." and that is undated, but sandwitched in between stuff that happened in 1936 and 1937. So lets say he married her in 1936 to keep it simple.
So they got married in 1936, but she was born in 1926? Huh, he married a TEN YEAR OLD???? OMG he's a child molester! Someone, quick, call the cops!
Is Betty the same person as Edith? I don't know.
So something is wrong here, but I don't know what, hopefully someone smarter than me can sort it all out.

- According to the cited article Norman F. Ramsey. "Polykarp Kusch" I could correct the situation. No, Betty and Edith are not the same person, and there is nothing strange in it. --Stefan Groote (talk) 06:03, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
