An existing page focused on solid-state electrolytes mentions this topic, but a new page was created due to the extensive body of research related to polymer electrolytes and many of their applications related to battery and field cell technologies. A cursory review of the literature was completed and focus was given to providing mechanistic insight and real-world examples of polymer electrolytes.
