Pascals Triangle

Using the terms degree, power
editI'm not a native English speaker and unsure about this. But I think the terms degree and power are used as follows…
- x has degree y; x is of degree y
- x is raised to the power of y
…while the article mixes both formulations:
- variables raised to different degrees

- A good question, even if not directly related to this article. To write the expansion in a clear form we have to use more structured set than just as index sets. Let and be finite sets, and let be the set of all functions . Then
