Confusing two references
editI am puzzled: what is the difference between "ref name=Bell1" and "ref name=Bell2"? Boris Tsirelson (talk) 20:21, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
That is an error on my part. Bell1 was a conference presentation. Bell2 is a follow-up paper. I'll correct it.
Thank you very much.Hikenstuff (talk) 04:17, 18 March 2015 (UTC)

edit- I did some obvious copy-editing things including indentation of "displayed" mathematical notation. I also changed J-1 to j − 1 and several things like that, plainly required by WP:MOSMATH. Note that digits and parentheses and other punctuation should __not__ be italicized in things like z(t) and j − 1; thus one should not have z(t) or j - 1. Also notice this difference:
- j-1
- j − 1
- The minus sign is not a stubby little hyphen and it should have spaces before and after it. Also, one should see , coded as e_\min, rather than , coded as e_{min}.
- However, the BIG change was the context-setting phrase "In mathematical statistics, [ . . . ]". Readers will come to the page not expecting that mathematics or statistics are the topics. They won't know in advance that it's not about politics, sewing, theology, medicine, chess, house painting, etc.
- I also changed to on the theory that it looks better and is more frequently seen in print. Michael Hardy (talk) 21:27, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
Thank you very much Michael.
