editThe section on the supposed "decline" of the town is opinion-based and therefore does not seem to belong. I removed it, but would not be opposed to a rewrite that, for instance, cites articles from local newspapers on the issue. Cliffie97 20:30, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
Notable people
editI was trying to see how Walter Berndt relates to Port Jefferson, but am not able to find a reliable source. I believe he was born in Port Jefferson. Please add information with citation if you have it available. Thank you--BuzyBody (talk) 20:38, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
I am also unable to verify Adam Klein's relationship to Port Jefferson (I think he was born in Port Jefferson but am not sure), as well as Nick Mamatas and R.A. the Rugged Man. Please add this information if available.Thank you--BuzyBody (talk) 16:31, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

Foghat album cover
editI wasn't so sure I'd find it, but I did.
"Foghat owned a recording studio called Boogie Motel on Main Street. On the cover of the Boogie Motel album is a bus with a sign "PT. JEFF'.[citation needed]"
We already have an image of the album cover, but I was able to find a closer shot. It was on the green bus with the words "Mystery Tour" on the top of the passenger side blocking the red and white one with the words "Surprise Tours" on the side of that, right next to the blue Cadillac, as seen here. The only question is, if we can't use this as a source, what can we use? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 00:01, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
