editThis section needs some serious work. The source is biased towards the "King's Harbour Marine Park" which doesn't actually exist (though some concepts of the foundation's plan may exist). I will make edits in the near future to make sure it is less speculation and more reality.FamilyCompact (talk) 20:26, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Original Port Union
editOriginally, Port Union was the area east of Port Union Road, and until 1974, a part of Pickering, Ontario in then-Ontario County. This should be integrated into the article somehow. — Preceding unsigned comment added by coldacid (talk • contribs) 19:44, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
- I've added a History section to the article which describes the history of the original community (now in West Rouge) as well as the annexing of the area east of Port Union Rd by Scarborough in 1974. There's a lot of history in between, however, especially for Centennial, which I'll leave as an exercise to other editors (my primary interest is really just the old village and Pickering Township). // coldacid (talk|contrib) 21:43, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
