Free port of Ventspils → Port of Ventspils – Requested at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions#How to change the main title by @Ventspils brīvostas pārvalde: with the rationale "Basically the story goes around the port in general and it would be more accurate to name the page - port of Ventspils. The free port organization is just a part of the port. We made the change in Latvian and were hoping we could also do this in English." Joseph2302 (talk) 21:19, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
- Support. Looks fine to me. --Edgars2007 (talk/contribs) 08:41, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
- Support The prefix appears to be idiosyncratic: equally as many references to 'Port of V.' and even 'Commercial Port of V.' Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 11:20, 8 April 2016 (UTC)

editOn the 17th of february 2021 I have made a new page that would act as a Chinese version of the "Port of Ventspils" page. The option to choose Chinese out of all the available languages was not there, so I decided to create a new page in Chinese. The information on the page is identical to the pages in Latvian and English. As for the one in Russian - I have been denied access to edit the page for unknown reasons.
I am still new to Wikipedia, but these articles are part of the company I work at (Freeport of Ventspils) and the information is sourced directly from our website.
I am kindly asking not to delete the content created in the articles that have anything to do with Freeport of Ventspils or Port of Ventspils in any languages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DavidsVBP (talk • contribs) 14:19, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
