The result of the move request was: Consensus is to change the title to a better naming standard. Moved (non-admin closure) >>> Extorc.talk 20:16, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
Portland, Maine, City Council → Portland City Council (Maine) – The name of the body is Portland City Council, not "Portland, Maine, City Council" so the capital letters denoting it as a proper noun in title are inaccurate. Gimelthedog (talk) 19:24, 7 January 2023 (UTC)
- Support - No reason for it to be titled as it currently is. The proposed name is correct, and would be more suitable. Garnet Moss (talk) 02:17, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
- Support standard naming for councils, we don't put commas like Leeds, Town Hall for common nouns that are part of the name. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:00, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Support per nom. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:17, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
